With the opening of the regional center in Turkestan in 2021, the modern educational center «Farab» began its work. The library is equipped with advanced technologies and includes a reading room, an Internet room, children’s and subscription departments, a history and local history department, a 400-seat concert hall, a recording studio, a coffee shop, the Atamura pottery club and the Fablab laboratory.
In 2024, the halls named after Uzbekali Zhanibek and Marhabat Baygut were opened. The book depository for 480 thousand copies is equipped with a telelift, and the total fund contains about 330 thousand books, including 354 rare editions. The fund is replenished through the «Give a Book» campaign and the receipt of new editions.
