Two special reading rooms have been opened for readers in the Farab library. This initiative is an important step in enriching the spiritual heritage, developing the reading culture and perpetuating the great personalities of the Kazakh people.
In particular, a reading room dedicated to the state and public figure, ethnographer Uzbekali Zhanibek has begun its work. This room contains scientific works and historical and educational literature. Readers can also familiarize themselves with rare studies on the history of Kazakhstan and cultural heritage.
In addition, there is a reading room named after the outstanding writer, journalist, and public figure Marhabat Baigut. Marhabat Baigut made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh literature, his works are distinguished by the depth of their content and the promotion of national values. This hall contains his works, books on Kazakh literature and journalism, as well as important educational works for literature lovers.
